How to Prepare for Demo

Rule 1: One account in ONE browser

You can open 1 admin account, 1 clinician account and 1 patient account in one browser.  

Patient’s results opened from the clinician case detail page is equal to one opened patient’s account.

Opening several windows in incognito mode (1 account in one window) is equal to opening several tabs in ONE window.

According to this rule, you are to have no more than 3 tabs in ONE incognito window:

1st tab = admin account  

2nd tab = clinician account

3rd tab = patient account

Rule 2: Clear cash

Common browser window saves and stores all cookies and cash for a long time. So, even if you log in and log out from different accounts one by one more than 5 times, the cash gets overloaded, and you will be blocked from using any account till the cash is cleaned.

Rule 3 - the king of rules: Use Incognito browser mode

For demo purposes it’s strongly recommended to use ONLY Incognito browser mode. It doesn’t store the cash after the window is closed.

To open the  link in incognito mode in your browser:

  1. Right-click the required link and select ‘Open link in incognito window’  
  2. The same trick with buttons in the patients’ emails

Сlose the Incognito window (not a tab) before each demo and open your main clinician account to start a new Demo.

Rule 4: Keep all the data organized

  • Save all the environments’ links in your browser’s toolbar, in one folder, to make it faster to switch between different environments and accounts.  
  • Use a password manager like "Dashlane" to organize your passwords for the main accounts. Dashlane supports incognito mode as well

So, it’ll take less than a minute to prepare your workspace for a new test/demo.

Rule 5: Updates are not immediate

In the case when we grant access to Service provider or make an update to Case scheduling, it takes the Tasks list a few minutes to inherit the update and start showing the Due/Overdue tasks.

Demo check list

 

Before Demo

► Check that your demo account is granted all the required accesses, all demo materials are prepared, the proper case scheduling is set. 

► Clear cash.

If you see the branding from the previous demo on the patient portal:
1. Clear cash if working in a usual browser mode.
2. Close this window and open a new incognito window if working in incognito.

► One tab for one portal in ONE incognito window is opened.

► All the required links and passwords are kept in one place.

 

After

► Always complete registration and log out of your accounts after the demo

► Never close the tab before logging out of your demo account
