How to enable Pre-treatment reminders for the customer?

This type of reminder is sent to the patient if they have not registered after receiving the enrollment email and meant to encourage the patient to complete the registration process: to gain access to the patient portal and fill in the due survey before coming to the clinician on the treatment date (if the SMS option is on).

  1. Navigate to Protocols and select* the required one from the list

      *Use Search field to find the required protocol faster.

  1. Switch to the required custom modification
  1. Click Settings on the right
  1. Switch on the toggle Send reminder before treatment date

  1. Specify the time before the scheduled treatment when patients will receive the reminder
The default template assumes that this reminder is sent ONE DAY before the treatment.

  1. Click SAVE at the top right of the screen to save the settings

If the client would like their patients to receive pre-treatment reminders through both* - email and SMS - providing them with multiple options to stay informed and prepared, make sure that you:

*There is a time gap of 10 minutes between sending SMS and email notifications. Initially, the patient will receive an SMS, and after 10 minutes, a notification will be sent to their email address.

Once the pre-treatment reminder has been sent to the patient, it cannot be triggered again, even if the treatment date is rescheduled for the following day in the system.
