You can extend the settings and set the advanced permissions for Service Providers at the protocol version level.
We do not recommend showing the "Service Providers" feature during your live demo to customers since assigning tasks may take some time (up to 10 minutes) and the assigned tasks won't be displayed immediately on the Service Provider dashboard.
Case 1. Assigning Service Provider as a Main Delegate (without accessing the Patient’s PI data)
That's the case when the Service Provider is the only delegate of the survey!

3rd party organization, e.g. an external laboratory, requires having limited access to the defined survey/s in the case.
Case 1.2. Assigning Service Provider as a delegate + granting access to PI data
Business Case:
When a Service Provider needs not only to complete the tasks, but to see patients’ PI data. This level of access can be useful for some internal laboratory in the clinic.
You can set different level of access for one and the same service provider in different surveys:
If you want to combine a few roles in one service provider. For example, service provider is ready to provide the service for both: a call center and a laboratory, and they need different levels of access to PI data
In order to make sure that the right person is granted access to patient’s information, we recomment use REASSIGN TASK functionality. In this case, you can reassign the task to any service provider member
To give a service provider representative the access to the cases as well as the investigator has:
Give them global access through ADD NEW PERMISSION function and select READ AND WRITE access
Give them active subscription ➢ Using this trick you can give full “investigator’s” access for service provider to multiple accounts
