EHR/EMR Integration. Open API

Sections

Corresponding Clinician Articles

In any EHR/EMR integration project we can go one of the following ways:

Option 1: Integrational project for inCytes Dev Team

This approach will consist of 2 stages:

  1. Investigation phase (around 60 hours). During this phase the team will
  • Investigate the 3rd party API
  • Check the data compliance between the 2 systems
  • Hold any required communication with the 3rd party
  • Come up with the integrational plan

The very important part of this phase is for us to get the Sandbox (=’testing) account

  1. Actual integration. The estimation for this phase can be provided only after 1e completed

Option 2: Integrational project for 3rd party provider

We recently started investigating the options to scale (later) the integrational projects via 3rd party providers assistance. At the moment, we contacted with two companies (for both companies we already received the pricing proposal):

  • Lyniate and their product Corepoint - the leader of the EMR/HER integrational market. I checked their list of integrations and do not see the Elation Health EMR. Thus, the integration will have to be developed with the Corepoint Integration engine used as the backbone for it.

  • Redox, which is used by one of our competitors.

Any of these companies require significant investments from RegenMed. It will be a significant strategic decision for RegenMed to decide if we go with any of them.

Option 3: Integrational project for Elation Health EMR team

As our Open API will be shortly released, we can offer integration with our platform instead. The Elation Health Team will have to go through the same stages as we do in option 1.
