Creating a New Version of the Patient Consent

After creating the new consent version, the patients will be suggested to review and sign the updated document during their log in process. New Consent version created for one of the languages will require to re-sign the Consent only the patients who set this language on their Benchmarc. Patients will not be able to access Benchmarc until the consent is signed.
Making changes (adding new translations/correcting a typo, etc.) in the current version in any language will not require to re-accept the Consent.
  1. Navigate to the Circles and select the required Circle* from the list

*Use Search to find the required Circle by Circle name, Circle #description or Funder

  1. Scroll the Circle details page to the bottom
  1. Select the required language on the left and insert the updated text of the Patient Consent.

  1. Click SAVE when ready
  1. Click NEW VERSION at the top of the Patient Consent field

  1. Confirm creating the new consent version by pressing NEW VERSION (or press X [the cross icon] at the top right of the modal to close it and cancel the action).

Investigators or Circle founders don't get any notifications once the Consent signed by the patient.

Tracking the Consent Versions Changes

Clicking the VIEW HISTORY will open the chart with Consent versions history where you can find:

  • The number of the Consent version
  • The person published the Consent version
  • The date of publishing the version

At the moment, you can’t switch between Consent versions and see their content. Only the last created version is displayed in the Patient Consent field and the information about the newly created version is placed above the Consent.
