While cleaning up the content , you can perform bulk actions with read only, questions and bundles to save time. Thus, you can make changes in one survey and apply them in all related entities.

Related entities for the survey – in simple words, these are copies of this survey which are added to multiple protocols / protocol modifications/ versions and repeated there as follow-ups.

When you use this function, your action is applied to ALL the copies of this survey!

That’s why it’s strongly recommended NOT to do bulk actions in the surveys which are used in lots of protocol modifications. Be careful: you see NO warning messages for this actions.

When is this feature useful?

The feature is useful when you need to apply some changes to the protocol (to the custom surveys created for a particular client).  

You mustn't use this options for the widely-used surveys like Demographic Data or Knee OA Patient Outcomes.

Set in use in all related entities

Applicable for archived and Set not in use questions and bundles

1. Navigate to Surveys and select the required one from the list

          a. Use Search to find the required survey faster

2. Select English US on the left
3. Add a question/read-only/bundle in the Survey content field (if required)
4. Click three dots at the top right of the required question/bundle and select Set In Use in all related entities

5. Confirm the action by clicking YES*

          * Click NO or cross at the top right of the modal to cancel the action

Set not in use in all related entities

Applicable for questions/bundles set in use or archived

1. Navigate to Surveys and select the required one from the list

2. Select English US on the left

3. Click three dots at the top right of the required question/bundle and select Set Not In Use in all related entities

4. Confirm the action by clicking YES*

         *Click NO or cross at the top right of the modal to cancel the action

Archive in all related entities  

Applicable for questions/bundles set in use or set not in use

1. Navigate to Surveys and select the required one from the list

2. Select English US on the left

3. Click three dots at the top right of the required question/bundle and select Archive in all related entities

4. Confirm the action by clicking YES*

          *Click NO or cross at the top right of the modal to cancel the action
