Service Provider needs access not only to the task to complete, but also to the data of the whole case (to analyze the data, to plan smth and so on)
Key aspects:
Service Provider has full access to the case data, they begin to see OPEN CASE button at the top of the Task Detail screen (as well as the investigators do), so that they can open the case and review the answers
With these settings Service Providers will not have the following action buttons to work with the case: ➢ no access to the patient's progress/no view patient results button; ➢ no archive/complete/open case buttons; ➢ no "three dots" menus next to the tasks/case alerts; ➢ They will be able only to look through the info of the case
Service Providers can reassign their tasks to another Service Provider/Laboratory member if the task is not completed
Service Providers with global access have wider filter options than an ordinary Service Provider. They have the ability to filter tasks by delegate (as well as clinicians can). If you add permissions to the existing Service Provider that already uses the app, they should first log out/log in to see the new filter options
How to set up this access:
Navigate to the Protocols tab and switch to the required protocol version
Go to Protocol Settings
Click ADD NEW PERMISSION +
Select the required Service Provider and press ADD
Switch on the toggle ACCESS GRANTED to give Service Provider the access to the cases and click SAVE
To have global access to a case, Service Provider must be an alternative assignee for one of the tasks in the case
To see the tasks in your task list make yourself a default assignee
By adding permissions for Service Providers in the protocol settings, we automatically give them the access to patients’ PI data, even if the toggle “Grant access to all patients' PI data” is off in the separate survey
There are two types of global access levels:
READ-ONLY ACCESS: gives the ability to only review the case data without the ability to add/edit anything in the tasks NOT assigned to them
READ AND WRITE: gives the ability to do any manipulations with the case (as well as investigator can)
